Mannu Bhandari and Rajendra Yadav met in Calcutta (now Kolkata) when Bhandari was a student at Calcutta University. Despite her father’s opposition, they got married and started living in Tollygunge in Kolkata until After that, they moved to Delhi and stayed there.
